Hope you are enjoying the last few days of summer. The autumn season is about to begin and I can’t wait for the upcoming festivities 🥳! Every few months, I try to share my favourite things and activities with you here. Today, it’s part 2 of the ‘Current Favourites’ series. Keep reading!
Skincare:
Pure Elements Yaman Night Cream:
I am currently using this night cream from the Indian brand, Pure Elements. It’s such a nourishing face cream!

This deeply moisturising night cream is a blend of Ayurvedic herbal extracts and plant-derived ingredients that work on surface cells to reveal radiant, smoother and younger-looking skin. I’ll share my full experience on the blog soon, so stay tuned.

Palmer’s Cruelty-free Coconut body oil:
I love Palmer’s products because they suit my skin and hair really well! I usually use their rich body oils, but recently I picked up the Vitamin E Coconut Hydrate Body Oil Spray and I’m loving it.

Palmer’s Coconut Body Oil |
I carried it with me on my recent trip to Cambridge and it kept my dry skin hydrated and nourished throughout the day. I’ll share my full thoughts on my other blog, Everything Enchanting, where I’ve already reviewed another moisturising body oil & shampoo from this brand. Do check it out!
Wild Natural Lip Balm Refill:
I’ve been using Wild’s natural products for the past few months. Recently, I started using their natural lip balm in Coconut and Vanilla scent. During the summer, it worked amazingly and kept dryness at bay.

Perfume Oil:
I love perfume oils. Many years ago, I reviewed Fabindia perfume oil on this blog, you can read it here. Recently, I tried The Edinburgh Natural Amber Oud Perfume Oil and it’s incredible! I apply it to my pulse points and the scent lasts for a good few hours. Definitely worth trying.

Medicines:
Okay, so I hardly ever share medicine reviews here. However, I’ve been so impressed with these two OTC products that I thought I must share them, just in case it helps you too.
Before my August Cambridge trip, I was experiencing severe back pain. Thanks to the Ayurvedic/Herbal/Chinese medicine Tiger Balm (red ointment), the pain eased and I was able to complete the trip without too much trouble. I applied this balm throughout the journey and still do, as the pain isn’t going away any time soon. But my condition is so much better than before using this balm. I honestly can’t recommend it enough. You can get it from Boots or Holland & Barrett.

Corn Wraps Toe Protector & Tiger Balm |
Another product that helped me immensely on my trip was a pair of toe protectors. These are soft gel corn wraps designed to relieve painful corns. On our first day, after walking for almost six hours, I developed blisters on my ring and little toes on both feet. I thought I wouldn’t be able to walk freely for the rest of our seven-day trip, but these reusable wraps saved me! I hardly wear peep-toe shoes, so I wore them with my Nike trainers every day and walked miles across central Cambridge without any issues or discomfort. If you’re travelling or worried about blisters, pick these up from Sainsbury’s or Boots, you’ll thank me later.

Sukin Natural Balance Scalp Scrub:
This is the first time I’ve used a scalp scrub and I’m genuinely impressed! It cleanses my scalp well without stripping away natural oils. I follow it with my usual shampoo and conditioner. I’ll share a detailed review here soon.

Have you ever used a scalp scrub? Do let me know your favourites in the comments below.
TV Drama:
I am currently enjoying the Korean drama ‘Bon Appetit, Your Majesty’. I recently finished watching the Chinese drama ‘A Dream Within a Dream’ (书卷一梦), so I was excited to start this new Netflix series. If you’re a fan of time travel romance stories, then you’ll probably enjoy these dramas as well.
