Brentford will demand at least £60million to sell Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United.

It was thought the Bees would accept an offer in the region of £50m for their star forward, who has held talks with the Red Devils.

However, high-ranking Bees sources say they see Mbeumo in the same bracket as Matheus Cunha.

Man United are buying the Wolves attacker in a deal worth £62.5m.

Mbeumo’s contract is up at the end of next season, but Brentford have the option to extend for another year to protect his value.

The 25-year-old is a year younger than Cunha and scored more Premier League goals this season.

Chelsea target teen Ajax star

Chelsea are eyeing a move for exciting Ajax defender Jorrell Hato, talkSPORT understands.

Hato has long been on the radar of Premier League clubs, with Arsenal showing strong interest in the past.

The versatile 19-year-old can either play as a left-back or left-sided centre-back and Chelsea see him as potential cover for Marc Cucurella.

Initial conversations between Chelsea’s recruitment team and Ajax are believed to have already taken place.

Hato’s arrival could pave the way for the permanent departure of Portuguese defender Renato Veiga, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Juventus.

Aaron Ramsdale has held talks with West Ham.

Ramsdale only joined Southampton from Arsenal last summer, but knows he needs to be playing Premier League football to nail down a place in England’s World Cup squad.

Hammers boss Graham Potter is a big admirer of the ex-Bournemouth and Sheffield United star.

The Irons need to bolster their ‘keeper ranks after long-serving Lukasz Fabianski left the club.

Saints would be willing to leave Ramsdale go for a fee of around £20m to get his £100,000-a-week wages off the payroll following their relegation.

Should he join the Hammers, he would challenge Alphonse Areola for his No.1 shirt after an inconsistent campaign from the Frenchman.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, the world’s most expensive goalkeeper, is in limbo over his future.

Kepa had an impressive season on loan at Bournemouth, but the Cherries are yet to decide whether to push to make his signing permanent.

Parent club Chelsea have made it clear the Spaniard is not part of the plans with Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen facing competition from teenager Mike Penders next term.

As previously reported in this notebook, Kepa was being tracked by Bayer Leverkusen but the German side are signing Brentford’s Mark Flekken instead.

Scratching around for a club is a big fall from grace for a player who cost Chelsea £72m and has won two Champions Leagues.
