TrEST Research Park, MBCET sign agreement

State-run TrEST Research Park and Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology (MBCET) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently to establish the first TrEST satellite centre at the MBCET campus.

TrEST Research Park chief executive officer Rajasree M.S. and MBCET Principal S. Viswanatha Rao signed the MoU in the presence of TrEST chairperson Sabu Thomas.

Professor Thomas stressed the importance of establishing satellite centres within academic institutions. He also highlighted their role in bridging the gap between classroom learning and industrial innovation to create a fertile ground for entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer.
