New Delhi: Healthcare provider Ujala Cygnus has received 70 hospital beds in donation from Vijay Kumar Arora and Dr. Saurabh Arora. The donation was formally handed over during a ceremony in Delhi. The intended aim of the donation is supporting access to quality care in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

According to Ujala Cygnus, the donated beds will help expand capacity at key hospital locations, improving emergency response, intensive care, and post-operative services.

The addition of 70 beds is expected to reduce wait times, enhance patient care, and create safer recovery environments.

Dr. Shuchin Bajaj, Founder & Director, Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the contribution, stating, “I have always believed real change begins with individuals, not institutions.

The generosity shown by the Arora family is a strong reminder that making a meaningful impact doesn’t require vast resources or big foundations—just empathy, clear intent, and the willingness to take action. At Ujala Cygnus, our mission is rooted in the belief that healthcare is a basic right, not a privilege.”
