Paryaya Puttige Mutt seer Sri Sugunendra Tirtha inaugurated a week-long jackfruit and mango fair at Geeta Mandira, Krishna Mutt complex on Friday, June 13, in Udupi.
Speaking after the inauguration, Sri Sugunendra said that Lord Sri Krishna had stated in the Bhagavad Geeta that he would be happy if devotees offer him leaves (Pathram), flowers (Pushpam), fruits (Phalam), or water (Thoyam).
