In a U-turn, India international Yashasvi Jaiswal has requested the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to allow him to play for Mumbai in the upcoming domestic season.

This comes a couple of months after he sought a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the MCA to play for Goa. However, in his email, which Sportstar has seen, Jaiswal requested the association to withdraw the NOC.

“I, the undersigned, would request your goodself to consider my request in withdrawing my NOC given to me as I had some family plans in shifting to Goa which for now has been curtailed ! So I sincerely request MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai this season ,” Jaiswal wrote.

“I have not submitted the NOC to bcci nor to Goa Cricket Association,” he added.

However, the MCA is yet to decide on the future course of action.

Officials in the Goa Cricket Association also appeared unaware of Jaiswal’s U-turn, as they claimed not to have heard anything from the batter yet.
